Women against corruption movement kickstarts in Lombok

KPK Spokesperson Johan Budi opened a Training of Trainers session on "Women Against Corruption" movement in Mataram, Lombok. The session was done in collaboration with AIPJ.

On 12-14 May 2014, The Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) in collboration with  Australia Indonesia Partnership for Justice (AIPJ) held a Training of Trainers (ToT) for  “Saya Perempuan Antikorupsi” movement in Mataram, Nusa Tenggara Barat (NTB).

Twenty five women from various background participated in the training. They received basic knowledge on corruption, and were introduced to a set of tools which can be used to communicate corruption issues easily.

KPK Spokesperson Johan Budi SP said that women plays an important and strategic role in preventing corruption. “I hope they can be great facilitators and agent of change," he added.
