PSHK (www.pshk.or.id) was established in 1998, working on research and advocacy towards socially responsible law making in Indonesia. PSHK works in two main areas: parliamentary and judiciary reform.

In parliamentary reform, PSHK annually publish a comprehensive report on parliamentary legislative performance. PSHK has developed a legislative drafting training manual that has been used in series of trainings in both local and national levels. PSHK’s training was attended by representatives of the government, NGOs, and Members of parliament.

In judiciary reform, PSHK has provided assistance to the Supreme Court, namely in the making of the Blue Print of Indonesian Supreme Court Reform, Blue Prints to Establish the Anti-Corruption Court and Commercial Court, and Human Rights Court Blue Print.

PSHK continuously develop innovative approaches to law reform. PSHK cofounded Hukumonline.com (www.hukumonline.com), publish the law journal “JENTERA”, manages Daniel S. Lev Law Library (www.danlevlibrary.net), and established Indonesia Jentera School of Law (www.indonesiajentera.org).
