Indonesia's Supreme Court and Judiciary began their reform process in the early 2000s. The Supreme Court’s reform started with the One Roof process, a constitutional separation of power that began after the fall of the New Order. These reforms resulted in a Supreme Court independent of the executive, with its own budget and responsibility for the appointment and promotion of judges.
Our infographic shows how these reforms have increased access to justice from 2007 to 2013.
