Serving the Public through Judgement Directory

Lembaga Kajian dan Advokasi untuk Independensi Peradilan (LeIP) launchedwww.indekshukum.org in order to provide the public with an easier access to judgement documents. The event was held in Jakarta on 24 October. “Through this service, we want to encourage more judgement-based discussion among stakeholders,” said LeIP Executive Director Dian Rositawati.

The Supreme Court has developed www.putusan.mahkamahagung.go.id which can be accessed by advocate, judges, prosecutors, lecturers, students, and public. The new indekshukum.org helps to look for detail documents inside that website. It listed cases, numbers, links to the judgement document, and notes. “This is a tool to help people look for the documents they need,” she added.
